During each regular Council Meetiog there will be a Citizen Comment Time The purpose ofthe Citizen
Comment Time is to allow citizen s access to the Council Citizens requestiog to address the Council will
be asked to complete a written request form aod present it to the City Recorder In general the Cbairmao
will allow ao individual two mioutes to address the Council A spokesmao recognized as representing a
group in attendaoce may be allowed np to five minutes At the conclusion ofthe Citizen Comment time
the Chairmao may direct staff to assist the citizen on the issue presented direct the citizen to the proper
administrative departments or take no action This policy also applies to all Public Hearings
Citizens may also submit written requests outlining their issue for an item to be considered at a future
Council meetiog The chairmao may place the item on the agenda under Citizen Comments direct staff to
