Village of Tilton Board Meeting Minutes FEBRUARY 24, 2022 (RESCHEDULED FROM FEBRUARY 17, 2022) 6:00 pm Mayor Phillips called the meeting to order and roll call was taken. Trustees Barrett, Finley, Mitchell, Sheets, Washkowiak and Wear were present. Trustee Sheets made a motion to accept the minutes of January 20, 2022 board meeting, Trustee Wear second. Trustees Finley, Mitchell, Sheets, Washkowiak and Wear voted yea. Trustee Barrett abstained due to being absent. Motion carried. Trustee Wear made a motion to accept finance report and pay bills over $1,500.00. Trustee Mitchell second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion passed. Trustee Wear made motion to amend presented agenda to add FYE2022 budget. Trustee Sheets second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion passed. Trustee Wear made a motion to approve Rahn Equipment for MDT mounts and installation in 5 fire apparatus at $4,414.06. Trustee Mitchell second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion passed. Trustee Wear made a motion to place name for new dump truck that will be on next fiscal year budget as production is 32 weeks out. Trustee Finley second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion passed. Trustee Wear made a motion to purchase new squad car at $37,265.00 from Morrow Brothers with $23,000.00 to Rahn Equipment for upfit. Trustee Finley second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion passed. Swearing in of Tilton Police Officer Joshua Brown, promoted to Sergeant. Trustee Wear made a motion to amend FYE2022 Budget. Trustee Sheets second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion passed. Public Works Committee set a meeting with Republic Services for 3-2-2022, 4pm at Tilton City Hall. Trustee Sheets made a motion to release lien with sale of property at 203 W 4th St. Trustee Washkowiak second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion passed. Trustee Barrett made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Trustee Sheets second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion passed.
