Village of Tilton Board Meeting Minutes SEPTEMBER 15, 2022 6:00 pm Mayor Phillips called the meeting to order and roll call was taken. Trustees Finley, Mitchell, Sheets, Washkowiak, Wear and Weidenburner were present. Trustee Sheets made a motion to accept the minutes of August 18, 2022, board meeting, accept the finance report and pay bills over $1,500.00. Trustee Washkowiak second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Wear made a motion to place for 100 E 5th Street, to place for bids for removing parking lot, base, tamp and HMA asphalt. Trustee Washkowiak second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Washkowiak made a motion to engage in negotiations with owner of 106 W 2nd Street, for sale of property. Trustee Finley second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Washkowiak made a motion to purchase a crane truck for public works for $96,910.00 plus $2,680.00 for reinforcement. Trustee Sheets second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Washkowiak made a motion to renew membership in Keep Vermilion County Beautiful for $1,000.00. Trustee Weidenburner second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Sheets made a motion for Curry Pay Estimate # 11 for $113,577.27 and Midwest Asphalt Pay Estimate #4 for $288,660.96, Trustee Finley second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Washkowiak made a motion to place 314 Brentwood for bids, with minimum bid of $3,500.00 Trustee Sheets second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Washkowiak made a motion for Intergovernmental Agreement with Danville Sanitary District, Trustee Mitchell second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Sheets made a motion for ORDINANCE 2022-0915 AUTHORIZING DISPOSAL OF MUNICIPALLY OWNED SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY. Trustee Finley second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Washkowiak made a motion to send TIF Application from STIR to Moran Economic Development for recommendations. Trustee Finley second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Sheets made a motion to move $40,000.00 from Cemetery Account to Souza Investments. Trustee Wear second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Wear made a motion to declare September 17-23, 2022 Constitution Week. Trustee Weidenburner second. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Wear made a motion to appoint Tiffany Jones-McClellan Village Administrator and Cassidy Warrick Treasurer. All six Trustees voted yea. Motion carried.
