MINUTES OF SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS MONDAY, JULY 25, 2011 4:00 P.M. 1.0 Call to Order The Council meeting was called to order by Mayor Gretchen Fagan. Other members present were: Councilman Hudgens Councilman Stoll Councilman Brown Councilman Townsend Councilman Dodson Others present: City Manager – George Shackelford Assistant City Manager – Christal Weber City Secretary – Doris Speer Finance Director – Glenn Windsor Director of Public Works – David Kauffman Fire Chief – Randy Parr Assistant City Engineer – Lori Lakatos Police Chief – Robert Hauck HR Director – Lisa Coe Fire Marshall – Doug Sanguedolce Building Official – David Allen Budget Analyst/Project Accountant – Craig Price Executive Director-TEDC – Kelly Violette 2.0 No public comments were received. 3.0 Workshop Session: 3.1 The Tomball City Council entered into a Workshop Session regarding the Fiscal Year 2011-2012 Budget. George Shackelford, Christal Weber, Glenn Windsor, and City staff provided information regarding the presented list of all projects currently under contract. Minutes Special City Council Meeting July 25, 2011 Page 2 of 2 Consensus of Council was unanimous to proceed with Brown Road and M121 West during Fiscal Year 2011-2012 and to cash fund Brown Road. Various options were discussed regarding funding M121 West, Medical Complex Drive, and/or Fire Station #3. 4.0 Motion was made by Councilman Townsend, second by Councilman Stoll, for adjournment. Notice is hereby given of a Special meeting of the Tomball City Council, to be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 4:00 p.m., City Hall, 401 Market Street, Tomball, Texas 77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The Tomball City Council reserves the right to meet in a closed session for consultation with attorney on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code. 1.0 Call to Order 2.0 Public Comments and Receipt of Petitions (At this time, anyone will be allowed to speak on any matter other than personnel matters or matters under litigation, for length of time not to exceed three minutes.
