MINUTES OF REGULAR TOURISM ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS TUESDAY, JANUARY 26, 2016 6:00 P.M. 1.0 The meeting was called to order by Chair Holly Cook. Other Committee members present were: Rodney Hutson Mary Harvey Steven Hughes Paige Cassel Members absent: Kevin Lala - excused Prakash Patel-excused Laura Wilson Jeffie Cappadonna Others present: City Manager – George Shackelford Marketing Director – Mike Baxter Assistant City Secretary – Betsy Gates Sister City Chair, Grady Martin Sister City Vice Chair – Kit Pfeiffer Sister City Treasurer – Sandra Martin Sister City Member – Larry Love 2.0 No Public Comments were received. 3.0 Reports and Announcements Mike Baxter, Marketing Director, presented information regarding Success of Recent Events and ongoing activities.  Minutes Regular Tourism Advisory Committee January 26, 2016 Page 2 of 2 4.0 Motion was made by Mary Harvey, second by Rodney Hutson, to approve the minutes of the October 27, 2015 Regular Tourism Advisory Committee Meeting. Motion carried unanimously. 5.0 New Business: 5.1 Motion was made Mary Harvey, second by Paige Cassel to Approve Tomball Sister City Organization Request for $40,000 for salary for Assistant Manager position and additional paid labor Motion carried 4 votes Aye, 1 vote Nay. Vote was as follows: Paige Cassel – Aye Holly Cook - Aye Mary Harvey – Aye Stephen Hughes – Aye Rodney Hutson - Nay 5.0 Motion was made by Stephen Hughes, second by Mary Harvey, to adjourn.
