Minutes of the TROY CITY COUNCIL FINANCE COMMITTEE February 1, 2018 6:00 P.M. The meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Council President Mantello Pledge of Allegiance: Frank LaPosta Roll Call: The roll being called the following answered to their names: Council Member McGrath, Council Member Cummings, Council Member Bissember, Council Member Kennedy, Council President Mantello, Chair. Council Member Gulli arrived at 6:05 pm. Council Member Paratore was absent. In attendance were Deputy Mayor Monica Kurzejeski, Deputy Comptroller Andy Piotrowski, Corporation Counsel James Caruso, and Commissioner of Planning & Economic Development Steven Strichman. Approximately 30 members of the public attended. Public Forum: No one came forward. 3. Ordinance Authorizing And Directing Transfer Of Parking Lot At 144-146 Fourth Street To Troy Local Development Corporation. (Council Member Kennedy) (At The Request Of The Administration) Mantello made a motion to add language provided by Strichman, “Terms and Conditions: Property will be transferred to the LDC only to be used in conjunction with the demolition and redevelopment of 130 Fourth Street with 144-46 Fourth Street, and at such time as said project has received site plan review and a similar parcel of land, suitable for use as a parking lot serving the same area with a similar number of parking spaces is made available and transferred to the City for replacement parking.” Motion passed 6 ayes, 0 nos.
