CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION Vice Mayor Castellanoz called the closed session to order at 6:09 p.m. II. CITIZEN COMMENTS - Comments from the public are limited to items listed on the agenda (GC 54954.3a). Speakers will be allowed three minutes. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION(S): Vice Mayor Castellanoz adjourned to closed session at 6:09 p.m., for items as noted. (a) 54957(b)(1) – Public Employment/Appointment: City Manager (Interim) IV. RECONVENE CLOSED SESSION Mayor Jones reconvened from closed session at 7:03 p.m. V. CLOSED SESSION REPORT (if any) Mayor Jones advised that the Council voted 3 to 2 (Council Members Macedo and Sigala voting no) to appoint Fire Chief Willard Epps to serve as Interim City Manager. [Staff was directed to commence a recruitment for City Manager.] VI.
