Mr. Danny Dolan, who lives on Taylor Ridge Court spoke. He shared that he was the Vice
Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Fayette County. He stated that he was told that his property
value had increased and with that so would his tax bill. He added that Tyrone was a great place to
live and that more folks were coming to Tyrone. The fact that his house value was increasing did
not make things easier. Mr. Dolan stated that in addition to the Town tax increase, the school board
shared that our tax bills would increase by approximately $100, based on their millage rate. He
asked that the Town roll-back the millage rate and not take more money, we need our hard-earned
money.
