CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL There being a quorum, Mayor Prussing called the meeting of the Urbana City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Alderman Roberts made a motion to approve minutes from meeting held on February 3, 2014. Alderwoman Ammons seconded. Resolution No. 2014-02-006R: A Resolution Approving an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for Stormwater utility Services. Alderwoman Ammons made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2014- 02-006R. Alderman Roberts seconded. Motion carried by roll call. Resolution No. 2014-02-008R: A Resolution Approving and Authorizing the Execution of an Urbana Home Consortium Community Housing Development Organization Agreement (Habitat CHDO Developer 1107 W. Hill and 1208 ½ W. Dublin) Alderwoman Ammons made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2014- 02-006R. Alderman Roberts seconded. Motion carried by roll call. REPORTS OF OFFICERS Elizabeth Tyler, Community Development Director announced various workshops and neighborhood meetings. Workshops that will give an update on the Bicycle Master plan and the Urbana Park District Trail Master plan, as some were cancel due to bad weather. Alderman Bill Brown, acknowledged the library committee for a job well done on the search for a new Library Director. Mike Monson, Chief of Staff wanted the public to know that city goals input are available online if they would like to comment on any of the subjects. Traffic Task Force Applications are also available on the website. Mayor Prussing wanted to clarify a statement that was made on the meeting of January 21, 2014. She was not in opposition of the police department involvement with the Task Force. She also explained some issues about the 911 crisis as it is having some financial difficulties at this time. Alderwoman Diane Marlin announced the Innovation celebration that will take place at the NCSA on February 27, 2014 from 5-8pm. I. NEW BUSINESS 1. Mayoral Appointments a. Market at the Square Advisory Board - Carrie Welter b. Sustainability Advisory Commission - Bart Bartels Mayor Prussing presented appointments for approval. Urbana City Council Minutes: February 17, 2014 Page 6 of 6 Alderwoman Marlin made a motion to approve appointments as presented. Alderman Roberts seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. Action: Appointments for Market at the Square Advisory Board and Sustainability Advisory Commission were approved by voice vote. J.
