Call To Order and Roll Call There being a quorum, Mayor Prussing called the special meeting of the Urbana City Council to order at 7:01 p.m. II. Petitions and Communications There were none. III. NEW BUSINESS 1. Resolution No. 2016-01-001R: A Resolution Approving a Professional Energy Consulting Services Agreement with Good Energy, L.P. (Municipal Electrical Aggregation) Urbana City Council (Special Meeting) Minutes: January 11, 2016 Page 2 of 2 Scott Tess, Environmental Sustainability Manager and presented the Resolution No. 2016-01-001R to council with recommendation for approval. Tom Leigh Director, Midwest Energy Sales Good Energy, was available to address questions and concerns that council brought up at the previous meeting. After discussion, Alderman Smyth made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2016-01-001R. Alderman Ammons seconded. Motion carried by roll call vote. Votes were as follows: Aaron Ammons – Aye Diane Marlin - Aye Bill Brown – Aye Dennis Roberts - Aye Eric Jakobsson – Aye Charles Smyth - Aye Michael P. Madigan – Aye Disposition: Resolution No. 2016-01-001R was approved by roll call vote (7-Ayes; 0-Nays) 2. Resolution No. 2016-01-002R: A Resolution Authorizing Execution of a Service Agreement with the Lowest Responsible Bidder for the Supply of Electricity for Residential and Small Commercial Customers Who do Not Opt out of Such a Program (Municipal Electrical Aggregation/2016) Mayor Prussing introduced Resolution No. 2016-01-002R to council for approval. Due to the previous presentation in correlation with this item there was no further discussion. Alderman Smyth made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2016-01-002R as presented. Alderwoman Marlin seconded. Motion carried by roll call vote. Votes were as follows: Aaron Ammons – Aye Diane Marlin - Aye Bill Brown – Aye Dennis Roberts - Aye Eric Jakobsson – Aye Charles Smyth - Aye Michael P.
