Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Chair Marlin called the joint meeting of the Urbana City Council and Cunningham Township Board to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION – PUBLIC INPUT Laurel Lunt Prussing spoke about budget issues and 911 funding. She said Representative Chad Hays and Ralph Caldwell helped in getting the state to increase the downstate 911 funding to $1.50 from 87 cents. She said she believed 911 funding should be a percentage, rather than a fixed dollar amount and hoped the City will continue to work on the issue. 3. NEW BUSINESS a. Social Service Allocations Grants Manager Kelly Mierkowski discussed the list of allocations and the distributions decided by council members. She said there were some amounts that pushed the amount over the total allocated. Adjustments were discussed. Ms. Mierkowski said she would make the final adjustments based on corrections by trustees. Township Supervisor Danielle Chynoweth thought Township trustees would have to approve $175,000 on the part of Cunningham Township and the City would have to Page 1 of 2  approve $75,000 for allocations. Town Clerk Charles Smyth said the amount funded by the City is included in the City budget, and at tonight’s meeting, the Township would need only to direct staff to approve the allocations as presented. Trustee Jakobsson made a motion to direct staff and the town supervisor to distribute the allocations as indicated by council, with the corrections by Trustee Roberts and corrections to the overages. Motion seconded by Trustee Wu and carried by voice vote. Chair Marlin asked trustees if they supported moving the July 3 Town Board meeting to July 10. Trustees approved moving the regular July 3 meeting of the Cunningham Town Board to Monday, July 10, by a show of hands. 4. Adjournment There being no further business to come before the Cunningham Town Board and Urbana City Council, Chair Marlin declared the meeting adjourned at 7:18 p.m. Kay Meharry Recording Secretary Charles A.
