EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT This Employment Agreement (hereinafter the “Agreement”) is made and effective as of the 6 day of May, 2024 by and between the City of Utica (hereinafter the “Employer”) and th Christine Pastorelli. RECITALS: WHEREAS, Ms. Pastorelli retired from her employment with the City of Utica as a part-time Housing Assistance Administrator effective on or about November 29, 2023; WHEREAS, the full-time Housing Assistance Administrator resigned from her employment with the City of Utica effective April 19, 2024; and WHEREAS, the Employer desires to hire Ms. Pastorelli as a part-time Housing Assistance Administrator. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual considerations and understanding set forth herein, the parties agree and stipulate as follows: AGREEMENTS: 1. The Employer agrees to employ Ms. Pastorelli as a part-time Housing Assistance Administrator. 2. The Employer agrees to pay Ms. Pastorelli at rate of $75.00 per hour for said employment. Ms. Pastorelli’s weekly work schedule shall be set by her Department Head. 3. The Employer and Ms. Pastorelli agree that the term of said employment shall be until such time as a full-time Housing Assistance Administrator is hired and, if necessary, trained or until such time as she reaches the maximum retiree earnings limit pursuant to Section 212 of the Retirement and Social Security Law. 4. Ms. Pastorelli acknowledges that said part-time employment does not entitle her to any vacation/sick leave or any other City of Utica employment benefits. 5. This Agreement constitutes the full and complete agreement of the parties with respect to the matters contained herein and no verbal statement or other agreement, except as an amendment in writing annexed hereto and designated as an amendment to this Agreement shall supersede or vary the provisions herein. H416.571001 Y01 2024-25 Paving – Bond Proceeds $2,500,000.00 H55197.211 Y01 2024-25 Paving Cap. Outlay $2,500,000.00 EXPLANATION: To incorporate the 2024-2025 paving contract by the bond ordinance passed by the Common Council on 3/20/2024.  RESOLUTION 2024-2025 Fiscal Year BY : RESOLVED, The City Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to incorporate the Wadas Foundation grant into the 2024-2025 City budget as follows: Dr. Cr. A404.207000 Youth Contributions $24,709.90 A57145.471 Wadas Found. – Misc. $24,709.90 EXPLANATION: To incorporate the Edwin J. Wadas Foundation grant in the 2024-25 budget. This grant will be used for youth wellness and fitness programs through the City’s Youth Bureau.
