CITY OF VERONA MINUTES PUBLIC WORKS/SEWER & WATER COMMITTEE MONDAY, APRIL 8, 2013 1. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson William McGilvray at 5:30 p.m. 2. Roll Call: Present: William McGilvray, Clark Solowicz, Richard Streich. Also present: Bob Gundlach, City Engineer, Bill Burns, City Administrator, Jon Hochkammer, Mayor, Ron Rieder, Public Works Director. 3. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Solowicz, to approve the minutes of the March 11, 2013 meeting of the Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee. Motion carried 3-0. 4. Discussion and possible action regarding a Professional Services Agreement for the Lincoln Street Reconstruction Project: MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Streich, to approve the Professional Services Agreement for the Lincoln Street Reconstruction Project in an amount not to exceed $30,175.00. Motion carried 3-0. 5. Discussion and possible action regarding a Professional Services Agreement for the 18/151 off ramp for Epic Lane: MOVED by Streich, seconded by Solowicz, to approve the Professional Services Agreement for the 18/151 off ramp for Epic Lane in an amount not to exceed $72,000.00. Motion carried 3-0. 6. Discussion and possible action regarding the 2011-2012 Biennial Report for the Group Municipal Stormwater Discharge Permit: MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Solowicz, to approve the 2011-2012 Biennial Report for the Group Municipal Stormwater Discharge Permit as presented. Motion carried 3-0. 7. Discussion and possible action regarding a Jurisdictional Transfer for CTH PB within the City limits: The Committee was supportive of the Jurisdictional Transfer for CTH PB from the ramps on 18/151 to the southern City limits. The Committee suggested that the Department of Public Works continue to work with staff at Dane County Highway in developing an official agreement with details for construction and cost sharing if applicable. In addition, the Committee discussed a possible jurisdictional transfer of CTH M from Locust Drive to Prairie Heights Drive. The Committee also suggested that the Department of Public Works continue to work with the County to formalize an agreement. 8. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Solowicz, to adjourn.
