CITY OF VERONA MINUTES PUBLIC WORKS/SEWER & WATER COMMITTEE MONDAY, APRIL 14, 2014 1. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson William McGilvray at 5:35 p.m. 2. Roll Call: Present: William McGilvray, Luke Diaz, Heather Reekie. Also present: Bill Burns, City Administrator, Bob Gundlach, City Engineer, Ron Rieder, Director of Public Works. 3. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Diaz, to approve the minutes of the February 24, 2014 meeting of the Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee. Motion carried 3-0. 4. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Reekie, to approve the Developers Agreement for Scenic Ridge Phase 6. Motion carried 3-0. 5. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by Reekie, to approve the contract with Hammersley Stone Inc. for the Lincoln Street Reconstruction and Water Main Replacement in the amount of $848,986.22. Motion carried 3-0. 6. MOVED by MGilvray, seconded by Reekie, to approve the Professional Services Agreement for Contract Administration and Construction Staking for the Lincoln Street Reconstruction Project in an amount not to exceed $26,925.00. Motion carried 3-0. 7. Discussion regarding the Verona Area Community Theater Project and possible locations for relocation. Mr. McGilvray requested that this item be placed on the next Public Works Committee Agenda. 8. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Diaz, to adjourn. Motion carried 3-0.
