CITY OF VERONA MINUTES PUBLIC WORKS/SEWER & WATER COMMITTEE MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2014 1. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Evan Touchett at 5:30 p.m. 2. Roll Call: Present: Evan Touchett, William McGilvray, Luke Diaz. Also present: Mayor Hochkammer; Bill Burns, City Administrator; Bob Gundlach, City Engineer; Ron Rieder, Director of Public Works; Heather Reekie, District 4 Alderperson; Elizabeth Doyle, District 1 Alderperson; Jim Ferroli, Verona Press, arrived 5:50 p.m. 3. MOVED by Diaz, seconded by McGilvray, to approve the minutes of the September 8, 2014 meeting of the Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee. Motion carried 3-0. 4. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Touchett, to approve Change Order No. 2 for the Lincoln Street Reconstruction and Water Main Replacement in the amount of $9,243.43. Motion carried 3-0. 5. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to approve the Proposal for appraisal services for the Nine Mound Reconstruction Project in the amount not to exceed $13,000.00. Motion carried 3-0. 6. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to recommend approval to the Common Council the addendum to the Developer’s Agreement for Liberty Park Phase I as presented. Motion carried 3-0. 7. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Diaz, to approve the contract with Iowa Grant Trucking, Inc for Liberty Business Park Phase 2 in the amount of $764,122.25. Motion carried 3-0. 8.
