CITY OF VERONA MINUTES PUBLIC WORKS/SEWER & WATER COMMITTEE MONDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2014 1. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Evan Touchett at 5:40 p.m. 2. Roll Call: Present: Evan Touchett, Luke Diaz, Mac McGilvray. Also present: Adam Sayre, City Planner; Bob Gundlach, City Engineer; Ron Rieder, Director of Public Works. 3. MOVED by Touchett, seconded by Diaz, to approve the minutes of the November 10, 2014 meeting of the Public Works/Sewer and Water Committee. Motion carried 3-0. 4. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Diaz, to recommend approval of the Relocation Order and the Right-of-Way Plat for the N. Nine Mound Road Relocation Project. Motion carried 3-0. 5. Discussed the possible purchase of a strip of land from the W. Verona Avenue Water Tower by the adjacent property owner (Caring Center). Ron Rieder suggested City of Verona contract with Hick Appraisal Service to conduct a sales study to determine the value of the strip of land. 6. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Touchett, to recommend approval of an Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement for the N. Nine Mound Road/CTH PD Intersection in the amount not to exceed $269,025.00. Motion carried 3-0. 7. MOVED by McGilvray, seconded by Diaz, to adjourn. Motion carried 3-0. Time: 6:10 p. m.
