Mayor Flaggs stated that purchasing an advertisement from Lendsi Radio, LLC

the City of Vicksburg and will be helpful toward advancing the moral, financial
and other interest of the City of Vicksburg.
On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Thompson, and
unanimously passed, The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg approved
the purchase of radio ads from Lendsi Radio, LLC V105.5 FM and Newstalk 1490
WVBG AM for Vicksburg High and Warren Central High School Games and Red
Carpet Bowl (August and September 2016) in the amount of $295.00 per station.
The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote:

The City Clerk presented the Docket of Claims numbering 132884 through

On motion of Mayor Flaggs, seconded by Alderman Thompson, the Mayor and
Alderman voted to approve the Claims Docket. The motion was adopted
unanimously by the following vote:

Alderman Mayfield returned to the Board Meeting.
Executive Session:
Alderman Thompson moved the Mayor and Aldermen go into a closed meeting to
determine if the Board should go into executive session. The motion was
seconded by Alderman Mayfield. Voting aye, Mayor Flaggs, Alderman
Thompson, Alderman Mayfield. None voting nay, the motion was unanimously
adopted.
The Mayor and Aldermen discussed whether or not they should go into executive
session. Alderman Mayfield moved to go into executive session to discuss

in the Fire Department (1); Pay Adjustments in the Fire Department (2), Police
Department (4), Amended Transfer Date in City Court (1); Department Transfer in

Sewer Department (1); Resignation in the Building Maintenance Department (1),
TV23 (1), Gas Department (1), Sewer Department (1); Suspensions in the Fire

$17.70 per hour to $17.90 per hour, Officer at $14.25 per hour to $14.45 per

Board Meeting for Booking Officer at $9.88 per hour to Deputy Court Clerk at
$11.09 per hour from June 22, 2016 to June 27, 2016 in City Court. The motion
was adopted unanimously by the following vote:

On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Thompson, the

Driver at $8.08 per hour in the Right of Way to Gas Locator at $9.00 per hour
in the Gas Department. The motion was adopted unanimously by the
