Mayor Flaggs stated that purchasing an advertisement from Lendsi Radio, LLC
will bring into favorable notice the opportunities, possibilities and resources of
the City of Vicksburg and will be helpful toward advancing the moral, financial
and other interest of the City of Vicksburg.

A. ID-16-1476 Southern Cultural Heritage Center Updates
Ms. Stacey Massey, of the Southern Cultural Heritage Center, came before the
Board to inform the public of the upcoming events at the Southern Cultural
Heritage Center for the month of November 2016 and invited the public to attend.
The Mayor and Aldermen thanked Ms. Massey for attending the meeting.

Executive Session:
Alderman Thompson moved the Mayor and Aldermen go into a closed meeting to
determine if the Board should go into executive session. The motion was
seconded by Alderman Mayfield. Voting aye, Mayor Flaggs, Alderman
Thompson, Alderman Mayfield. None voting nay, the motion was unanimously
adopted.
The Mayor and Aldermen discussed whether or not they should go into executive
session. Alderman Mayfield moved to go into executive session to discuss

from October 12, 2016 for Purchasing Specialist from $10.33 per hour to
$10.00 per hour; Fixed Assets Specialist from $10.02 per hour to $9.70 per
hour in the Purchasing Department. The motion was adopted unanimously by

M. ID-16-1548 Suspension - Airport (1)
On motion of Alderman Thompson, seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the

On motion of Mayor Flaggs, seconded by Alderman Thompson, the Mayor

Police Officer in the Police Department. Also present was Chief Walter
Armstrong, Captain Sandra Williams, Lieutenant Troy Kimble, Eddie Colbert,
Inspector Curtis Judge, Deputy Chief Bobby Stewart. The motion was

Standard Operating Guideline 12.1.75 Attendance Policy. The motion was

On motion of Alderman Thompson, seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the
Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the request to Post for Laborer in the
Street Department. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following

V.1 ID-16-1613 Retro-Active Pay Adjustments - Recreation/Tennis (2)
On motion of Alderman Thompson, seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the
Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve Retro Action Pay Adjustment for
Tennis Helper from $7.25 per hour to $8.00 per hour in the Recreation Tennis
Program. The difference in pay is .75 cents. Total regular hours worked
6.62X.75=$4.97 owed. Tennis Helper from $7.25 per hour to $8.00 per hour in
the Recreation Tennis Program. The difference in pay is .75 cents. Total
regular hours worked 11.22X.75=$8.42 owed. The motion was adopted
