Vicksburg.
On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., and
unanimously passed, The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg approved
the purchase of a Radio Sponsorship from Lendsi Radio, LLC V105.5 FM and
Newstalk 1490 WVBG AM for Vicksburg High and Warren Central High School
Games and Red Carpet Bowl (August and September 2017) in the amount of
$1,180.00. The City is authorized pursuant to Sec. 17-3-1 and 17-3-3 of the
Mississippi Code of 1972. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following

and Aldermen voted to approve allocation of funds in the amount of $10,000.00 to
Vicksburg Family Development Service, Inc.
The City is authorized pursuant to Sec. 21-19-65 of the Mississippi Code of 1972,
as amended, for matching funds for social and community service programs and
the City is matching these funds. The motion was adopted unanimously by the

amount of $759.00. The City is authorized pursuant to Sec. 17-3-1 and 17-3-3 of
the Mississippi Code of 1972. The motion was adopted unanimously by the

all charges incurred to be assessed against the property owners. The motion was

On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the
Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the following Reports: City Sexton,
Privilege License, Mayor and Treasure, Detail Budget Report, Monthly Tax
Collection, Delinquent Tax Collection. The motion was unanimously adopted
by the attached vote:
Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr.
Mayor Flaggs recused himself from the Board Meeting.

On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Monsour, Jr., the
Mayor Pro-Tem and Alderman voted to approve Claims Docket. The motion was
adopted unanimously by the following vote:

Alderman Mayfield moved the Mayor and Aldermen go into a closed meeting to
determine if the Board should go into executive session. The motion was
seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr.. Voting aye, Mayor Flaggs, Alderman
Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, Jr. None voting nay, the motion was unanimously
adopted.
The Mayor and Aldermen discussed whether or not they should go into executive
session. Alderman Mayfield moved to go into executive session to discuss

Status Changes in the Information Technology Department (2); Termination in the

hour to $15.90 per hour, Lieutenant I at $11.90 per hour to Lieutenant III at

to Acting B-Watch Commander at $15.15 per hour in the Police Department.

I. ID-17-1008 Retro Pay Adjustment - Recreation/City Pool (1)
On motion of Mayor Flaggs, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor
and Aldermen voted to approve Retro Pay Adjustment for 3rd Year WSI
Lifeguard in Recreation/City Pool. Upon hire, should have been paid $8.75
per hour; however, was paid $8.00 per hour. Total regular hours worked was
98.22 with no overtime hours. 98.22X.75=$73.67. Total retro due is $73.67.
The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote:

J. ID-17-1009 Promotion - Sewer Department (1)

Foreman at $9.25 per hour in the Sewer Department. The motion was
adopted unanimously by the following vote:

K. ID-17-1010 Promotion - Airport (1)
On motion of Mayor Flaggs, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor

Interim Operation Manager at $11.75 per hour at the Airport. The motion was
adopted unanimously by the following vote:
