Employee will be transferring from a Booking Officer to Deputy Clerk in the Court Services Department, effective February 20, 2019. Employee passed his certified pipe welding exam and is now able to weld on gas main lines under DOT Regulations and Heavy Equipment Operator from $13.39 per hour to $14.39 per hour in the Street Department. ID-19-0164 Pay Adjustment - Fire Department (1) On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve Pay Adjustment for Lieutenant III from $12.73 to Lieutenant IV at $13.04 at the Fire Department, effective February 27, 2019. Employee has met requirements for increase in Tier Pay System plus ten (10) years longevity pay of .12 cents. ID-19-0165 Longevity Pay - Ambulance Department (1) On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve pay increase of .26 cents per hour and .09 cents Longevity Pay for EMS Information Specialist from $15.64 per hour to $15.99 per hour, effective February 18, 2019, in the Ambulance Department. ID-19-0166 Longevity Pay - Building Maintenance Department (1) On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve an increase from $23.71 per hour to $24.06 per hour, effective February 25, 2019, in the Building Maintenance Department. This includes a .09 cents increase for twenty (20) years of service. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. G. ID-19-0167 Suspension - Sewer Department (1) On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to suspend the Suspension of an employee in the Sewer Department until he presents a doctor's excuse to Human Resource Department. If employee fails to submit doctor's excuse, the suspension of five (5) days will take affect. ID-19-0168 Termination - Sewer Department (1) On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to suspend the Termination of an employee in the Sewer Department. If employee is late one (1) time within the next three (3) weeks, employee will be terminated.
