On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield and unanimously passed. The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg approved the purchase of a sponsorship ad from 92.7 The Touch, River 101.3 and K Hits 104.5 in the amount of $450.00 for the 11th Annual Chili for Children Cook-Off. The City is authorized pursuant to Section 17-3-1 and Section 17-3-3 of the Mississippi Code of 1972. C. The Mayor and Aldermen thanked Ms. Mahoney for attending the meeting. B. ID-20-0037 Authorize Mayor to execute Promissory Note to Mississippi Home Corporation for Warren County Habitat for Humanity, Inc. ID-20-0036 Authorize Mayor to execute Settlement Agreement with Waggoner Engineering, Inc. ID-20-0039 Authorize Mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 to Pipeline Crossing Contract with Kansas City Southern Railway Company Attachments: Amendment No 1 Pipeline Crossing On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to authorize the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 to Pipeline Crossing Contract with Kansas City Southern Railway Company. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. Executive Session: Alderman Mayfield moved the Mayor and Aldermen go into a closed meeting to determine if the Board should go into executive session. The motion was seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr. Voting aye, Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, Jr. None voting nay, the motion was unanimously adopted. The Mayor and Aldermen discussed whether or not they should go into executive session. Alderman Monsour, Jr. moved to go into executive session to discuss Personnel Action Forms for: Longevity Pay in the Fire Department (1); Longevity Pay in the Fire/Ambulance Department (4); Longevity Pay in the Ambulance Department (1); Termination in the Gas Department (1). The motion was seconded by Alderman Mayfield. Upon vote being taken, the following voted aye: Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, Jr. The motion was adopted unanimously. ID-20-0042 Longevity Pay - Fire Department (1) On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Mayor Flaggs, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Longevity Pay of a Firefighter from $11.03 per hour to $11.09 ($11.03 + .06) per hour for five (5) years of service, effective January 7, 2020 in the Fire Department. Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. B. ID-20-0043 Longevity Pay - Fire/Ambulance Department (4) On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Mayor Flaggs, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve Longevity Pay of a Firefighter in the Fire Department from $13.81 per hour to $13.87 ($13.81 + .06) per hour for five (5) years of service, effective January 7, 2020; a Firefighter in the Fire Department from $10.58 per hour to $10.64 ($10.58 + .06) per hour for five (5) years of service, effective January 7, 2020; a Firefighter in the Ambulance Department from $14.96 per hour to $15.02 ($14.96 + .06) per hour for five (5) years of service, effective January 7, 2020; and a Firefighter in the Fire/Ambulance Department from $10.58 per hour to $10.64 ($10.58 + .06) per hour for five (5) years of service, effective January 7, 2020. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. C. ID-20-0044 Longevity Pay - Ambulance Department (1) On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Mayor Flaggs, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Longevity Pay of a Paramedic in the Ambulance Department from $18.59 per hour to $18.84 ($18.59 + .19 + .06) per hour for twenty (20) years of service. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. D. ID-20-0045 Termination - Gas Department (1) No action was taken on this item. E. ID-20-0137 Come Out of Executive Session and Approve All Items Taken Up in Executive Session On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr. seconded by Mayor Flaggs, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to Come Out of Executive Session and Approve All Items Taken Up in Executive Session.
