Board Comments: 4. Adopt Agenda On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to adopt the Agenda as printed. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. Routine Agenda: A. ID-21-0297 Adopt Budget Amendments On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to adopt the Budget Amendments for March 29, 2021. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. B. ID-21-0298 Accept the Recommendation of Neel-Schaffer to award bid for Vicksburg Waterline Protection Project to Anderson Contracting, LLC in the amount of $998,000.00 (Base Bid: $785,700.00 + Alternate Bid: $212,300.00) Attachments: Award Waterline Protection Project On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to accept the Recommendation of Neel-Schaffer to award bid for Vicksburg Waterline Protection Project to Anderson Contracting, LLC in the amount of $998,000.00 (Base Bid: $785,700.00 + Alternate Bid: $212,300.00). ID-21-0300 Acknowledge Proclamation Regarding the Re-Opening of Vicksburg While Minimizing the Risk of Infection and to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19, Effective April 1, 2021 Through May 1, 2021 On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Proclamation Regarding the Re-Opening of Vicksburg While Minimizing the Risk of Infection and to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19, Effective April 1, 2021 through May 1, 2021. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. E. ID-21-0302 Approve request from Kimberly Smith, Manager of The Loft Apartments, to block off the section of Clay Street between Walnut Street and Washington Street on Wednesday, March 31st between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to have a sign installed at 1301 Washington Street, the First National Building Attachments: The Loft Request to Block Street On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the request from Kimberly Smith, Manager of The Loft Apartments, to block off the section of Clay Street between Walnut Street and Washington Street on Wednesday, March 31st between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to have a sign installed at 1301 Washington Street, the First National Building.
