ID-21-0327 Authorize Mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 to Letter Agreement with Neel Schaffer, Inc. to Provide Environmental and Engineering Services for a Proposed Port in Vicksburg, MS Attachments: Neel Schaffer Contract Amendment No. 1 On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to authorize the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 to Letter Agreement with Neel Schaffer, Inc. to Provide Environmental and Engineering Services for a Proposed Port in Vicksburg, MS. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. Executive Session: Alderman Monsour, Jr., moved the Mayor and Aldermen go into a closed meeting to determine if the Board should go into executive session. The motion was seconded by Alderman Mayfield. Voting aye, Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, Jr. None voting nay, the motion was unanimously adopted. The Mayor and Aldermen discussed whether or not they should go into executive session. Alderman Monsour, Jr. moved to go into executive session to discuss Personnel Action Forms for: Pay Adjustment (Correction) in the Recreation Department (1). The motion was seconded by Alderman Mayfield, upon vote being taken, the following voting aye: Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, Jr. The motion was adopted unanimously. The Mayor and Aldermen announced they would go into executive session to discuss Personnel Action Forms for: Pay Adjustment (Correction) in the Recreation Department (1). The Mayor and Aldermen are now in executive session. Those present at the executive session were Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, Jr., Nancy Thomas - City Attorney, Walter W. ID-21-0322 Pay Adjustment (Correction) - Recreation Department (1) On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Pay Adjustment (Correction) of a Baseball Umpire/UIC from $45.00 a game to $40.00 a game in the Recreation Department, effective March 10, 2021. The previous action form had the incorrect rate per game. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. B.
