ID-22-0720 Pay Adjustment - Police Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, Sr., the Mayor and Alderman voted to approve the Pay Adjustment of a Lieutenant on F-Watch from $24.05 per hour to $24.25 ($24.05 + .20) per hour, effective July 2, 2022. Officer is entitled to an additional .20 cents per hour increase for ten (10) years of service in the Police Department. ID-22-0721 Termination - Police Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, Sr., the Mayor and Alderman voted to approve the Termination of an Officer in the Police Department. Officer failed to meet the standards set forth at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers' Training Academy (MLEOTA). Officer was expelled from MLEOTA Wednesday, June 22, 2022 due to her conduct and failure to follow instructions.
