The City Clerk presented notice to tax payers by order of Resolution along with the return receipts for notifying property owners of the public hearing. Mayor George Flaggs, Jr. turned the hearing over to Kim Hopkins, Executive Director of Main Street. Mrs. Hopkins announced that every year we have to renew the taxing district about this time. No one came in opposition to establishing the Special Assessment on Commercial Real Property in the Downtown Taxing District.
