ID-22-1101 Approve Claims Docket On motion of Mayor Pro-Tem Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, Sr., the Mayor Pro-Tem and Alderman voted to approve the Claims Docket numbering: 312640-313041. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. Recused: 1- Mayor Flaggs Jr. Mayor Flaggs, Jr., returned to the Board Meeting. Mayor Pro-Tem Monsour, Jr., is now Alderman Monsour, Jr. Executive Session: Mayor Flaggs, Jr., moved the Mayor and Aldermen go into a closed meeting to determine if the Board should go into executive session. The motion was seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr. Voting aye, Mayor Flaggs, Jr., Alderman Mayfield, Sr., Alderman Monsour, Jr. None voting nay, the motion was unanimously adopted. The Mayor and Aldermen discussed whether they should go into executive session. Mayor Flaggs, Jr., moved to go into executive session to discuss Personnel Action Forms for: Longevity Pay in the Fire Department (1); Longevity Pay in VTV Department (1); Longevity Pay in the Sewer Department (1); Longevity Pay in Building Maintenance (1); Pay Adjustment in the Police Department (1); Title Changes in the Inspection Department (3). The motion was seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr. Upon vote being taken, the following voted aye: Mayor Flaggs, Jr., Alderman Mayfield, Sr., Alderman Monsour, Jr. The motion was adopted unanimously. The Mayor and Aldermen announced they would go into executive session to discuss Personnel Action Forms for: Longevity Pay in the Fire Department (1); Longevity Pay in VTV Department (1); Longevity Pay in the Sewer Department (1); Longevity Pay in Building Maintenance (1); Pay Adjustment in the Police Department (1); Title Changes in the Inspection Department (3). The Mayor and Aldermen are now in executive session. Those present at the executive session were Mayor Flaggs, Jr., Alderman Mayfield, Sr., Alderman Monsour, Jr., Kim Nailor - City Attorney, Kelsey Conner - Human Resource Assistant/Safety, Tasha W. ID-22-1126 Longevity Pay - Fire Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the .07 cents Longevity Pay of a Firefighter from $13.18 per hour to $13.25 ($13.06+.06+.06+.07) per hour, effective September 26, 2022. Employee is entitled to an additional .07 cents per hour for fifteen (15) years of service in the Fire Department. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. B. ID-22-1127 Longevity Pay - VTV (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the .09 cents Longevity Pay for the Director of VTV from $22.01 per hour to $22.10($22.01+.09) per hour, effective September 27, 2022. Employee is entitled to an additional .09 cents per hour for five (5) years of service. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. C. Employee is entitled to an additional .09 cents per hour for five (5) years of service in the Sewer Department.
