ID-22-1529 Longevity Pay - Fire Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Longevity Pay of a Firefighter from $12.48 per hour to $12.58 per hour, effective December 1, 2022. Firefighter is entitled to an additional .10 cents increase in pay for one (1) year of service in the Fire Department. ID-22-1530 Longevity Pay - Ambulance Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the .10 cents Longevity Pay of a Firefighter/Ambulance from $13.06 per hour to $13.16 per hour, effective December 20, 2022. Employee is entitled to an additional .10 cents pay increase for five (5) years of service in the Ambulance Department. ID-22-1531 Longevity Pay - Inspection Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the .20 cents Longevity Pay of a Code Inspector from $15.45 per hour to $15.65 per hour, effective December 20, 2022. Employee is entitled to an additional .20 cents pay increase for five (5) years of service in the Inspection Department. ID-22-1532 Pay Adjustment - Building Maintenance (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Pay Adjustment of an HVAC Tech from 16.04 per hour to $18.20 per hour, effective December 14, 2022. Employee received his HVAC Technician certification EPA Clean Air Section 608 and is now entitled to receive the full HVAC Tech pay in Building Maintenance. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. H. ID-22-1533 Pay Adjustment - Gas Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Pay Adjustment of a Gas Locator from $12.94 per hour to $13.19 per hour, effective December 14, 2022. Employee is due .25 cents pay increase for completion of U.T.A Certified Professional Utility Locater certification in the Gas Department. ID-22-1534 Pay Adjustment - Police Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the .20 cents Pay Adjustment of a Patrol Officer from $16.12 per hour to $16.32 ($16.12+.20) per hour, effective December 29, 2022. Employee is entitled to an additional .20 cents increase for one (1) year of service in the Police Department. ID-22-1535 Pay Adjustment/Promotion - Vehicle Maintenance (2) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Pay Adjustment/Promotion of a Mechanic II from $16.67 per hour to an Interim Director at $20.00 per hour, effective December 28, 2022. Employee will replace Mr. Gardner on an interim basis. Employee rate of pay will increase for his additional duties as head of the department; a Mechanic I from $11.50 per hour to a Mechanic II at $12.00 per hour, effective December 28, 2022 in Vehicle Maintenance. Employee has been promoted to Lieutenant at the Police Department.
