ID-23-1304 Approve request for sponsorship in the amount of $200.00 to Vicksburg High School Gator A Booster Club for its upcoming baseball season pursuant to Section 17-3-1 and Section 17-3-3 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended Attachments: VHS Gator Baseball Booster Club Mayor Flaggs, Jr. stated that purchasing an advertisement from Vicksburg High School Gator A Booster Club will bring into favorable notice the opportunities, possibilities and resources of the City of Vicksburg and will be helpful toward advancing the moral, financial, and other interests of the City of Vicksburg. The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg approved the purchase of a sponsorship ad from Vicksburg High School Gator A Booster Club in the amount of $200.00 for its upcoming baseball season. The City is authorized pursuant to Section 17-3-1 and Section 17-3-3 of the Mississippi code of 1972, as amended. E. ID-23-1308 Approve request for advertisement in the amount of $1,500.00 to River City Toyfest pursuant to Section 17-3-1 and Section 17-3-3 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended Attachments: River City Toyfest Mayor Flaggs, Jr. stated that purchasing an advertisement from River City Toyfest will bring into favorable notice the opportunities, possibilities and resources of the City of Vicksburg and will be helpful toward advancing the moral, financial, and other interests of the City of Vicksburg. ID-23-1305 Authorize Mayor to execute Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund Loan Agreement with Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality for Sewer Collection and Relay Rehabilitation (SRF-C280733-06-0) Attachments: Water Pollution Revolving Loan Agreement Wastewater Pollution Control Regulations Payment Request Form On motion of Alderman Mayfield, Sr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to authorize the Mayor to execute Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund Loan Agreement with Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality for Sewer Collection and Relay Rehabilitation (SRF-C280733-06-0). ID-23-1310 Authorize Mayor to execute Rental Agreement with Pitney Bowes for Postage Machine located in Community Development Attachments: City of Vicksburg Renewal Agreement Updated Equipment On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, Sr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to authorize the Mayor to execute Rental Agreement with Pitney Bowes for Postage Machine located in Community Development. The motion was seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr. Voting aye, Mayor Flaggs, Jr., Alderman Mayfield, Sr., Alderman Monsour, Jr. None voting nay, the motion was unanimously adopted. The Mayor and Aldermen discussed whether they should go into executive session. Mayor Flaggs,Jr. moved to go into executive session to discuss Personnel Action Forms for: Longevity Pay - Animal Control (1); Longevity Pay - Sewer Department (1); Longevity Pay - Grants Department (1); Longevity Pay - City Clerk's Office (1). The motion was seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr. Upon vote being taken, the following voted aye: Mayor Flaggs, Jr., Alderman Mayfield, Sr., Alderman Monsour, Jr. The motion was adopted unanimously. The Mayor and Aldermen announced they would go into executive session to discuss Personnel Action Forms for: Longevity Pay - Animal Control (1); Longevity Pay - Sewer Department (1); Longevity Pay - Grants Department (1); Longevity Pay - City Clerk's Office (1). Those present at the executive session were Mayor Flaggs, Jr., Alderman Mayfield, Sr., Alderman Monsour, Jr., Kim Nailor - City Attorney, Walter W. Osborne, Jr. - City Clerk, Tasha W. Jordan - Deputy City Clerk, Kelsey Hicks - Human Resource Assistant/Safety, Tiffany Pendleton – Chief of Staff, Charlie Hill – Deputy Chief of Police. Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. A. ID-23-1315 Longevity Pay - Animal Control (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the .20 cents Longevity Pay of an Animal Control Officer from $9.00 per hour to $9.20 per hour, effective October 19, 2023. Employee is entitled to an additional .20 cents increase for one (1) year of service in Animal Control. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. B. ID-23-1316 Longevity Pay - Sewer Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the .20 cents Longevity Pay of an Operator from $14.00 per hour to $14.20 per hour, effective October 19, 2023. Employee is entitled to an additional .20 cents for one (1) year of service in the Sewer Department. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. C. ID-23-1317 Longevity Pay - Grants Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the .20 cents Longevity Pay of an Accountant from $25.30 per hour to $25.50 per hour, effective October 20, 2023. Employee is entitled to an additional .20 cents increase for two (2) years of service in the Grants Department. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. D. ID-23-1318 Longevity Pay - City Clerk's Office (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the .20 cents Longevity Pay of a Deputy Clerk from $14.10 per hour to $14.30 per hour, effective October 22, 2023. Employee is entitled to an additional .20 cents increase for ten (10) years of service in the City Clerk's Office. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. E.
