The Mayor and Aldermen are now in executive session. ID-24-0008 Pay Adjustment - City Clerk (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, Sr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve a Pay Adjustment for a Deputy Clerk from $14.30 per hour to $19.03 per hour, effective January 2, 2024. The Deputy Clerk will perform additional duties. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. B. ID-24-0009 Pay Adjustment/Promotion - City Clerk (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, Sr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve a Pay Adjustment/Promotion for a Deputy City Clerk from $22.62 per hour, to an Interim City Clerk at $85,000 per year, effective January 2, 2024. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. C. ID-24-0010 Status Change - Police Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, Sr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve a Status Change/Transfer of a Patrolman, effective January 2, 2024. This employee will go from full time status to part time. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs Jr., Alderman Mayfield Sr., and Alderman Monsour Jr. D. ID-24-0011 Extended Medical Leave - Water Department (1) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, Sr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve a request for Extended Medical Leave for an additional thirty (30) days for a Water Foreman in the Water Department.
