ID-25-0981 Title Change/ Pay Adjustment - Police (1) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderwoman Bailey, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Title Change/Pay Adjustment for a Captain by changing the hourly rate from $35.00 to $40.31, effective July 16, 2025. The employee's rate of pay will be $40.31 (35.52 base + .35 longevity +1.94 Masters +1.50 longevity +1.00 Specialized Division).The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Thompson, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderwoman Bailey B. ID-25-0982 Pay Adjustment - Fire (2) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderwoman Bailey, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Pay Adjustment for a Firefighter by changing the hourly rate from $20.39 to $21.14, effective September 3, 2025. The employee received an Associate of Applied Science Emergency Medical Services Paramedic degree; Pay Adjustment for a Firefighter by changing the hourly rate from $21.14 to $22.39, effective September 3, 2025. The employee received a Bachelor of Applied Science Emergency Management degree.The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Thompson, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderwoman Bailey C. ID-25-0983 Pay Adjustment - Police (1) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderwoman Bailey, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Pay Adjustment for Lieutenant (G-Watch) by changing the hourly rate from $24.86 to $25.06 ($24.86 + $0.20), effective September 13, 2025. The employee is entitled to an additional .20 cents per hour for eight (8) years of service. The annual salary will be $55,883.80.
