Finance / Personnel Committee Meeting City Hall, Viroqua, Wisconsin Tuesday, June 30, 2026 6:00 P.M. The meeting of the Finance / Personnel Committee was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Todd Spaeth at City Hall and via Zoom. 1. Roll Call Committee members present were Cyndy Hubbard, Todd Kirking, Todd Spaeth, John Thompson, and Tanja Birke. Also present were Nate Torres, Lori Polhamus, Sarah Grainger, Rick Niedfeldt, Trina Erickson, Cheryl Purvis, Carson Tracey, and Chuck Driscoll. 2. First period for public comment – None 3. Approval of committee minutes from 06/09/2026 – Motion by Tanja Birke/second by Todd Kirking to approve the committee minutes from 06/09/2026. Voice vote all in favor. Motion carried. 4. Discussion with possible action regarding goals and priorities for 2027 administrative & other budgets – taxi will need an additional cab purchase through a capital grant received in 2027. Airport is working on succession planning for Mike’s departure. Legal services are asking for a 15% increase. Cemetery will be asking for a larger contribution to their budget. Increase in hours for City Hall administrative assistant as well as base wage increase are also requested. The court prosecutor is currently running at about 15% of their budget in 2026. 5. Payment of bills – Motion by Todd Kirking/second by Cyndy Hubbard to recommend approval of bills in the amount of $514,213.58 and additional bills of $247,648.00 along with bills for dry utilities for MG&E & Xcel Energy. Roll call vote all in favor. Motion carried. 6. Second period for public comment – None 7.
