1 Village of Waterford 2 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes 3 October 6th, 2021 4 Held via Teleconference and at Village Hall 5 6 Chair Jaskie called the meeting to order at 5:01pm. 7 Present: Don Houston, Adam Jaskie, Andrew Ewert 8 Excused: Brian Lauer, Troy McReynolds 9 10 Also present: Michelle Vandehey, Colleen Schauer, Danielle Brown, Asst. Chief Nick 11 Birmingham, Zeke Jackson, Tricia Cox 12 13 Minutes: Ewert motioned to approve the 10-4-2021 minutes. Second by Houston. Motion 14 carried. 15 16 1- Draft Budget: Discussion was had on the 2022 Draft Budget: 100 Court & Police, Public 17 Safety Summary, 100 EMS Operations, 220 Rescue 102 Grant, 100 Fire Operations, 215 Fire 18 Department Dues, 221 Fire & Rescue Donations, 276 Fire & Rescue Impact Fees, Sum Minor 19 Funds Fire & EMS, Fire/EMS Wage Sheet, 100 General Government, 100 General Revenue, 20 Gen Sum, Village Hall Wage Sheet, and 2022 Budget Notice. 21 22 Motion by Ewert to recommend approval to the Village Board for the discussed sections of the 23 2022 Budget as part of the 2022 Budget Adoption Process, excluding Debt Service. Second by 24 Houston. All aye. Motion carried. 25 26 Motion by Houston to adjourn at 5:09 pm. Second by Ewert. All aye. Review of Sections of the 2022 Draft Budget; Consider a motion to recommend approval to the Village Board as a part of the 2022 Budget Adoption Process. It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to above in this notice. Upon reasonable notice, a good faith effort will be made to accommodate the needs of disabled individuals through sign language interpreters or other auxiliary aid at no cost to the individual to participate in public meetings. Motion carried. 20 21 1- Draft Budget: Discussion was had on the 2022 Draft Budget: Fund 100 Parks, Fund 275 Park Impact 22 Fees, Fund 100 Public Works, Fund 225 Recycling, Fund 600 Water/Water Capital, Fund 610 23 Sewer/Sewer capital, Water & Sewer Sum All Page, DPW/Parks Wage Sheet, Fund 205 Special 24 Funds/Capital and Special Funds Capital Detail, Fund 300 Debt Service, Debt Master Schedule and 25 corresponding amortization schedules. 26 27 Motion by McReynolds to recommend approval to the Village Board for the discussed sections of the 28 2022 Budget as part of the 2022 Budget Adoption Process, excluding Debt Service. Second by Houston. 29 All aye. Motion carried. 30 31 Motion by Houston to adjourn at 6:15 pm. Second by Jaskie. All aye.
