Finance Committee Meeting Minutes
January 9th, 2023

Chair Jaskie called the meeting to order at 5:07 pm.
Present: Chair Adam Jaskie, Don Houston, Troy McReynolds, Andy Ewert
Excused: Brian Lauer
Also present: Rachel Ladewig, Danielle Brown, Alysa Robbins, Kathy Lindbloom, Zeke Jackson,
Heather Kincade, Pat Goldammer, Tamara Pollnow, Todd Terry, Lt William Jeschke, Officer
John Nelson, Steve Ohs – Lakeshore Library System, Kevin Krysinski – Johnson Block and about
100 members of the public
New Business:
1. Presentation and public input session on the 2023 Budget - Committee members,
Administrator Jackson, Heather Kincade, Steve Ohs, Kevin Krysinski and others spoke
about the state of the Villages finances and elaborated more on the finances of the
Waterford Public Library. The Library budget was reduced as was the Fire Department and
Village Administration budgets. The public who attended were given an opportunity to speak
and also to collaborate to come up with ideas to help the library raise more funds.
Motion by Jaskie to adjourn at 7:15 pm, second by McReynolds. All aye. Motion carried.

other auxiliary aid at no cost to the individual to participate in public meetings. Due to the difficulty in finding interpreters, requests should be made as far
