Call To Order And Roll Call Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the regular meeting of the Watertown City Council was called to order in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022, by Mayor Steve Washburn. Council Members present: Washburn, Dan Schuette, Adam Pawelk, Lindsay Guetzkow, and Mike Walters. City Staff present: City Administrator Jake Foster and Public Services Director Mike Dressel. 2. Adopt Agenda GUETZKOW MOVED, PAWELK SECONDED A MOTION TO ADOPT THE AGENDA AS PRESENTED. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 3. Consent Agenda Discussion And Approval PAWELK MOVED, WALTERS SECONDED A MOTION TO ADOPT THE CONSENT AGENDA AS PRESENTED. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 3.A. Open Forum Mayor Washburn congratulated the new Fire Chief, Tom Hanson. Hanson said he is looking forward to serving in this role. Mayor Washburn thanked the previous Chief, Ryan Schroeder for his service in the fire department. Schroeder was presented with a plaque. 5. New/Old Business 5.A. Solicitation Of Quotes For CIO94 Melroe Tool Cat Public Services Superintendent Mike Dressel said the public works department has budged for a tool cat on the 2022 CIP. Dressel is asking council for permission to solicit quotes for the Melroe Tool Cat. Pawelk asked if the Tool Cat will be replacing a smaller piece of equipment. Dressel said yes. Pawelk asked what kinds of attachments will be purchased and when. Dressel said a broom, a snow blower and a V plow would be the first pieces to be acquired – all within the budgeted amount. GUETZKOW MOVED, WALTERS SECONDED A MOTION TO SOLICIT QUOTES FOR THE MELROE TOOL CAT. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 6. Other Reports Dressel updated on the plowing efforts year to date. Dressel said it has been difficult to make ice at the rink this year due to fluctuating temperatures and tampering with the ice. Foster updated on the EDA meeting and the grant application approval for the Hooked on Classics site. Pawelk updated the Park Commission will meet on January 19 to finalize the pricing on the Wildflower Park replacement. Washburn updated that the Commission on Aging has lost a number of members and there may be a change of format in the future. 7.
