NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSION/ACTION
Discussion of Snow Removal at Fire Station
Last fall the PWC agreed to let Mefferts plow the fire station parking lot in exchange for
being allowed to store snow from their site in the parking lot and the Village would haul
it away along with the fire station snow. The agreement stated that the arrangement
would be reviewed prior to renewal. Motion Bolger, second Frye, to extend the
agreement for 2 years subject to approval of the issue of sidewalk clearing to the
satisfaction of the Public Works Director. Motion carried 5-0.
Discussion of CTH Q – Current and Next Phase
Jim Madden gave an update on the completion of the current phase of the project. Both
sides are ready for pavement and he anticipates the roadway to be open to traffic within
the next 2-3 weeks.
For next year’s phase Kent Straus went over possible roadway design and space issues.
There was discussion on lighting, paths, trees, detours and utilities. The members gave
direction and will review plans at the next meeting.
