VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE SUSTAINABLE WAUNAKEE AD HOC COMMITTEE MEETING 500 West Main Street July 1, 2025 6:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER Meeting was called to order by Chair Frye at 6:02 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Nila Frye, Joe Zitzelsberger, Kylee Griffin, Linda Ashmore, Carly Eaton, Isak Evron Drangstveit, Julie Baldwin Absent: Erin Moran, Mike Weber, David Ross, Tom Wilson Also Present: Lauren Freeman MINUTES 1 Approve June 3, 2025 Meeting Minutes Motion to approve by Drangstveit. Seconded by Ashmore. Motion carried 7-0. PUBLIC COMMENT There was no public comment. BUSINESS ITEMS 1 Discuss and Take Action on a Calendar of Events The Committee discussed upcoming Farmers Market events to hand out sustainability flyers and collect names of individuals interested in getting involved in sustainability efforts. No action was taken. 2 Discuss 10/7 Sustainability Stakeholder Event The Committee discussed plans for the stakeholder event. 3 Discuss and Take Action on Recycling Programs & Education The Committee discussed various recycling program opportunities and next steps on educating the public. No action was taken. 4 Discuss Potential Dates for Material Recovery Facility (MRF) Tour The Committee picked a date for the tour. ADJOURN Motion to adjourn by Ashmore. Seconded by Eaton.
