VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE BOARD MEETING 500 West Main Street September 4, 2012 - 6:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER The September 4, 2012 Village Board meeting was called to order by President John Laubmeier at 6:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Phil Willems, Gary Walden, Chris Zellner, Gary Herzberg, Steve Kraus, John Laubmeier Absent: Sue Springman Also Present: Roberta Baumann, Julee Helt, Todd Schmidt, Kevin Even, John Ganser, David Sarocka CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. Motion by Gary Walden, second by Phil Willems, to approve the Consent Agenda including all items listed below. Motion Passed. For: 6, Against: 0, Absent: 1. 1. Approve August 20, 2012 Village Board Minutes Motion to approve August 20, 2012 Village Board minutes. 2. Approve Routine Bills Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 61874 through 61897 totaling $83,785.87 with check number 61896 being void and check numbers ranging from 61993 through 61998 totaling $10,973.39. 3. Approve Non-Routine Bills Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 61999 through 62013 totaling $150,985.86. 4. Approve Street Use Permit for Corina Rogers for September 14, 2012 Motion to approve a Street Use Permit for Corina Rogers on September 14, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with the condition that no outside amplified music be allowed after 9:00 p.m. 5. Approve Developer's Agreement for Westview Meadows Motion to approve the Developer's Agreement for Westview Meadows as recommended by staff. PUBLIC COMMENT There was no comment from the public. PUBLIC HEARING 1. Discuss and Take Action on Request by David Sarocka and Brenda Bland to  Rezone 5105 Caton Lane, Town of Westport, from County R-1 to Village SR-4 The public hearing to consider a request by David Sarocka and Brenda Bland to rezone 5105 Caton Lane, Town of Westport, from County R-1 Residential to Village SR-4 Surburban Residential, was opened at 6:02 p.m. and closed at 6:03 p.m. Motion by Phil Willems, second by Chris Zellner, to approve the rezone for 5105 Caton Lane, Town of Westport, from County R-1 to Village SR-4 as recommended by the Town of Westport. Motion Passed. For: 6, Against: 0, Absent: 1. LICENSES/PERMITS 1. Discuss and Take Action on Application for Operator License for Michelle L. Copus and Paul A. Ziegler Motion by Steve Kraus, second by Gary Herzberg, to approve operator license applications for Michelle L. Copus and Paul A. Ziegler subject to successful completion of an approved beverage server training course. Motion Passed. For: 6, Against: 0, Absent: 1.
