Meeting Minutes
CALL TO ORDER
The November 3, 2014 Village Board meeting was called to order by President John Laubmeier
at 6:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Gary Walden, Chris Zellner, Sue Springman, Gary Herzberg, John Laubmeier
Absent: Phil Willems, Steve Kraus
Also Present: Todd Schmidt, Dave Ferris, Kevin Even, Jean Elvekrog, Susan Hedrick, Roberta
Baumann
CONSENT AGENDA
Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any
Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the
agenda for discussion and/or action.
1. Approve October 20, 2014 Village Board Minutes
Motion to approve October 20, 2014 Village Board minutes.
2. Approve Routine Bills
Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 70413 through 70422 totaling $28,965.97,
70464 through 70484 totaling $54,666.89.
3. Approve Non-Routine Bills
Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 70485 through 70499 totaling $53,206.43.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There was no comment from the public.
PRESENTATIONS
1. Presentation on Proposed DOT Improvements for CTH I/STH 19/STH 113
Village Engineer Even provided information to the Board concerning the proposed
improvements at the CTH I/STH 19/STH 113 intersection.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Discuss and Take Action on Proposed 2015 Operating and Capital Improvement
Budget
No action was taken.
2. Discuss and Take Action on WPPA Union Contract *The Village Board may
convene in closed session as authorized by Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(e) for the
purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the
investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business,
whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. The Village
Board may reconvene in open session and discuss and take action on the subject
matter discussed in closed session.
Motion by Gary Walden, second by Sue Springman, to convene in closed session at 6:40 p.m.
as authorized by Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the
purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified
public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. The
Village Board may reconvene in open session and discuss and take action on the subject matter
discussed in closed session.
Motion Passed. For: 5 - Gary Walden, Chris Zellner, Sue Springman, Gary Herzberg, John
Laubmeier, Against: 0, Absent: 2.
ADJOURN
Motion by Gary Herzberg, second by Gary Walden, to adjourn at 6:59 p.m.
