VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE BOARD MEETING 500 West Main Street March 2, 2015 - 6:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER The March 2, 2015 Village Board meeting was called to order by President John Laubmeier at 6:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Phil Willems, Gary Walden, Chris Zellner, Sue Springman (arrived at 6:03 p.m.), Gary Herzberg, Steve Kraus, John Laubmeier Absent: None Also Present: Julee Helt, Todd Schmidt, Dave Ferris, Rob Dicke, Roberta Baumann CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. Approve February 16, 2015 Village Board Minutes Motion to approve February 16, 2015 Village Board minutes. 2. Approve Routine Bills Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 71025 through 71052 totaling $72,917.00, check numbers 71493 through 71503 totaling $50,636.31 and ACH check number 1500428 totaling $3,935.51. 3. Approve Non-Routine Bills Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 71504 through 71509 totaling $33,538.18 and ACH check number 1500427 totaling $123,309.56. 4. Approve Temporary Class "B" License Application for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for St. Patrick's Day Dinner Motion to approve an application for a Temporary Class "B" License for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for the St. Patrick's Day Dinner with licensed premise limited to the sales and consumption areas of the cafeteria, kitchen, concession stand, and lobby within the building located at 209 South Street. 5. Approve Temporary Operator License Applications for Donald M. Keller and Thomas J. Foster Motion to approve Temporary Operator License applications for Donald M. Keller and Thomas J. Foster. 6. Approve Resolution Designating Public Depositories and Authorizing Withdrawal of Village of Waunakee Deposits Motion to approve the resolution designating public depositories and authorizing withdrawal of Village of Waunakee deposits. 7. Approve Accumulated Leave Reserve Policy Motion to approve the Accumulated Benefits Reserve Policy with an adjustment to the annual levied amount of $5,000 to $50,000. 8. Approve Resolution Approving the Carryforward of Unexpended 2014 Appropriations Motion to approve the resolution approving the carryforward of unexpended 2014 appropriations. 9. Approve Resolution Approving Fund Transfers and Budget Amendments Motion to approve the resolution approving fund transfers and budget amendments. PUBLIC COMMENT Rob Dicke from Dane County Housing Authority spoke about affordable housing Waunakee. NEW BUSINESS 1. Discuss and Approve Proposal for Creative Economy Profile from Christine Harris Connections Sue Springman arrived at 6:03 p.m. Motion by Sue Springman, second by Steve Kraus, to authorize the Village Administrator to execute an agreement between the Village and Christine Harris Connections for completion of a Creative Economy Profile with an expense cap of $1,000.
