VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE BOARD MEETING 500 West Main Street August 17, 2015 - 6:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER The August 17, 2015 Village Board meeting was called to order by President Zellner at 6:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Phil Willems, Gary Walden, Chris Zellner, Gary Herzberg, Steve Kraus, John Laubmeier Absent: Sue Springman Also Present: Julee Helt, Dave Ferris, Kevin Even, Caitlin Stene, Bob Khouri, Bill Frederick, Reg Acker, Mitch Reis, John Endres, Kurt Acker, Pam Statz, Rick Moran CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. Motion by Phil Willems, second by Steve Kraus, to approve the Consent Agenda including all of the items listed below. Motion Passed. For: 6, Against: 0, Absent: 1. 1. Approve August 3, 2015 Village Board Minutes Motion to approve August 3, 2015 Village Board minutes. 2. Approve Routine Bills Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 72130 through 72136 totaling $18,355.96 and check numbers ranging from 72137 through 72146 totaling $17,518.44. 3. Approve Non-Routine Bills Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 72147 through 72153 totaling $455,804.09. 4. Approve Revised CSM and Zoning for Herb Statz, 5765 CTH Q, Town of Westport Motion to confirm the Village Zoning administrator has administratively approved the CSM, noting this is nothing more than a lot line adjustment (attaching the orphan outlot to the larger) and clarifying the zoning (rezoning the outlot from institutional (G-1) to agricultural zoning (County A1-Ex). PUBLIC COMMENT There was no comment from the public. PRESENTATIONS 1. Discuss and Take Action on Proclamation Honoring Mitchell Reis Motion by Phil Willems, second by Phil Willems, to approve proclamation honoring Mitchell Reis. Motion Passed. For: 6, Against: 0, Absent: 1. LICENSES/PERMITS 1. Discuss and Take Action on Operator License Applications for Jennifer L. Roberts, Derek A. Dineen, Jamie M. Utter, Terrisa Mulder, and Bonita M. Carrie Motion by Steve Kraus, second by Gary Walden, to approve operator license applications for Jennifer L. Roberts, Derek A. Dineen, Jamie M. Utter, Terrisa Mulder, and Bonita M. Carrie, subject to successful completion of an approved responsible beverage server training course and review by the Waunakee Police Department. Motion Passed. For: 6, Against: 0, Absent: 1. NEW BUSINESS 1. Discuss and Take Action on 2016 Property Insurance Coverage Motion by Steve Kraus, second by Gary Herzberg, to withdraw from the Local Government Property Insurance Fund for 2016 property insurance coverage, purchase property coverage for 2016 from MPIC, and include property insurance coverage with liability coverage in the Request for Proposals for 2017 and future years. Motion Passed. For: 7, Against: 0. 2. Discuss and Take Action on Development Agreement for Kilkenny Farms Project between Village of Waunakee and Kilkenny Farms, LLC No action taken.
