VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE BOARD MEETING 500 West Main Street March 6, 2017 - 6:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER The March 6, 2017 Village Board meeting was called to order by President Chris Zellner at 6:05 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Phil Willems, Chris Zellner, Sue Springman, Gary Herzberg, Steve Kraus, Bill Ranum, Sam Ballweg Absent: None Also Present: Roberta Baumann, Julee Helt, Todd Schmidt, Kevin Even, Renee Meinholz, Adam Bentley, Tom Wilson, Joe Parisi, Bill Schaefer CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. Approve February 20, 2017 Village Board Minutes Motion to approve February 20, 2017 Village Board minutes. 2. Approve Schedule of Bills Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 74532 through 74546 totaling $30,501.75, 74549 through 74575 totaling $88,673.01, WEX payment in the amount of $4,385.44 and JP Morgan payment in the amount of $96,115.63. 3. Approve Administrative Lot Line Adjustment for Dave and Ileen Williamson, 5316 STH 19, Town of Westport Motion to approve the lot line adjustment for Dave and Ileen Williamson, 5316 STH 19, Town of Westport. 4. Approve Changes to Position Descriptions for Accounting Clerk II and Create New Position Title and Description of Payroll/Human Resource Specialist Motion to approve changes to position descriptions for Accounting Clerk II and create a new position title and description of Payroll/Human Resource Specialist. PUBLIC COMMENT President Zellner and members of the Board congratulated Roberta Baumann, Waunakee Tribune editor, on her recent award from the Wisconsin Newspaper Association. PRESENTATIONS 1. Presentation from County Executive Joe Parisi County Executive Joe Parisi was present to discuss several current topics including the Clean Up Our Lakes partnership. 2. Presentation by Madison Area Regional Transportation Planning Board Bill Schaefer from the Madison Area Transportation Planning Board (MPO) was present to discuss future transportation planning and programs for the area. LICENSES/PERMITS 1. Discuss and Take Action on Operator License Application for Stacy L. Hinz Motion by Steve Kraus, second by Gary Herzberg, to approve an operator license application for Stacy L. Hinz subject to successful completion of an approved responsible beverage server training course and review by the Waunakee Police Department. Motion Passed. For: 7, Against: 0. NEW BUSINESS 1. Discuss and Take Action on Resolution to Support Closure of Loopholes That Shift Greater Property Tax Burden from Commercial Property Owners to Residential Homeowners (Dark Store) Motion by Steve Kraus, second by Phil Willems, to approve a Resolution to Support Closure of Loopholes That Shift Greater Property Tax Burden from Commercial Property Owners to Residential Homeowners (Dark Store).
