MINUTES FROM THE
CITY OF WAUTOMA
MEETING OF THE REGULAR COMMON COUNCIL
MONDAY, MARCH 14th, 2022
7:30 p.m.
Mayor Nixon called the regular meeting of the City of Wautoma Common
Council to order at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 14th, 2022.
Present: Mayor John Nixon, Alderpersons Pat King, Steve Ryerson, Aaron
Grimm, Bob Cayer, Eric Tratar and Ryan Petersen
Excused: None
Prayer and Pledge took place.
Alderperson Ryerson moved to approve the minutes from the Regular Common
Council meeting held on February 14th, 2022, and Finance and Personnel committee held
on February 14th, 2022. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Tratar and carried 6-0.
Mr. Bohler presented both the General Fund Budget Comparison and bank
account report.
Alderperson King motioned to approve the agenda which was seconded by
Alderperson Grimm and carried 6-0.
Alderperson Grimm motioned to approve an Operator’s License for Shayne M.
Raatz (Casey’s General Store and Jeanene M. Roberts (Casey’s General Store).
Alderperson Petersen seconded the motion which was carried 6-0.
Mr. Bohler presented his report to the council.
Chief Paul Mott presented his report to the council.
Mayor Nixon was excused for his report to the council.
Alderperson Cayer moved to approve the payment of monthly vouchers. The
motion was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 6-0.
Administrator Bohler gave an update on the City’s purchase of a snow plow,
citing delays and slightly higher costs due to supply chain issues.
Alderperson Ryerson motioned to adjourn, which was seconded by Alderperson
Cayer and carried 6-0. The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.

b. Attended broadband meeting for Waushara County services
c. Met with Green for Life regarding potential trash pickup services
d. Attended hazard mitigation meeting with Waushara County Emergency Services
Director
e. Met with Alliant Energy regarding timeline of solar panel project at the Wautoma
Airport
f. Held Joint Court Committee meeting
g. Staff carried out all well-abandonments throughout the City, satisfying DNR
requirements
