MINUTES FROM THE CITY OF WAUTOMA MEETING OF THE REORGANIZATIONAL COMMON COUNCIL TUESDAY, APRIL 19th, 2022 6:00 p.m. Mayor Nixon called the meeting of the City of Wautoma Common Council to order at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022. Present: Mayor John Nixon, Alderpersons Patrick King, Steve Ryerson, Bob Cayer, Ryan Petersen and Eric Tratar Excused: Alderperson Grimm Prayer and Pledge took place. Alderperson Tratar motioned to approve the agenda, which was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 5-0. Mr. Bohler swore in the newly elected officials. Alderperson Ryerson motioned to nominate Alderperson King for Council President, which was seconded by Alderperson Tratar and carried 5-0. Alderperson King motioned to nominate Alderperson Cayer for Board of Review, which was seconded by Alderperson Ryerson and carried 5-0. Alderperson Ryerson motioned to nominate Alderperson King to the Planning Commission, which was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 5-0. Alderperson Ryerson motioned to nominate the Waushara Argus as the City’s official newspaper. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 5-0. Alderperson Ryerson motioned to approve the remaining council-specific and staff-specific appointments which was seconded by Alderperson Tratar and carried 5-0 Alderperson Ryerson motioned to approve Mayor Nixon’s remaining committee appointments which was seconded by Alderperson Tratar and carried 5-0. Alderperson Petersen motioned to adjourn, which was seconded by Alderperson Ryerson and carried 5-0.
