Reorganizational Common Council

MINUTES FROM THE CITY OF WAUTOMA MEETING OF THE REORGANIZATIONAL COMMON COUNCIL TUESDAY, APRIL 18th, 2023 6:00 p.m. Mayor Nixon called the meeting of the City of Wautoma Common Council to order at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023. Present: Mayor John Nixon, Alderpersons Patrick King, Steve Ryerson, Bob Cayer, and Ryan Petersen Excused: Alderperson Grimm and Alderperson Tratar Prayer and Pledge took place. Alderperson Cayer motioned to approve the agenda, which was seconded by Alderperson Ryerson and carried 4-0. Mr. Bohler swore in Mayor John Nixon. Alderperson Ryerson motioned to nominate Alderperson King for Council President, which was seconded by Alderperson Cayer and carried 4-0. Alderperson King motioned to nominate Alderperson Cayer for Board of Review, which was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 4-0. Alderperson Ryerson motioned to nominate Alderperson King to the Planning Commission, which was seconded by Alderperson Cayer and carried 4-0. Alderperson Cayer motioned to nominate the Waushara Argus as the City’s official newspaper. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Ryerson and carried 4-0. Alderperson Ryerson motioned to approve the remaining council-specific and staff-specific appointments which was seconded by Alderperson King and carried 4-0 Mayor Nixon tabled his appointments until the May 8th, 2023 Common Council meeting Alderperson Petersen motioned to adjourn, which was seconded by Alderperson Cayer and carried 4-0.
