Planning & Dev., Staff Liaison X PUBLIC HEARINGS: None. REGULAR MEETING: 1. Approval of Minutes – September 10, 2019 – Anne Halvachs moved to approve the September minutes; seconded by Mike McClorey; motion passed by unanimous vote, subject to noted revision. 2. Visitor Comments – n/a NEW BUSINESS: 1. 726 Atlanta – 100 Year Old Demolition Application a. HPC reviewed submittal packet and staff memo recommending approval; questions or comments solicited; none offered; Doug Stanley moved to approve based on staff recommendation; Bill Stancil seconded motion; motion passed unanimously. 2. 212 Newport– 100 Year Old Demolition Application a. HPC reviewed submittal packet and staff memo recommending approval; questions or comments solicited; none offered; Anne Kelly moved to approve based on staff recommendation; Doug Stanley seconded motion; motion passed unanimously. 3. 123 St. George Place– 100 Year Old Demolition Application a. HPC reviewed submittal packet and staff memo recommending approval; questions or comments solicited; none posed; Mike McClorey moved to approve based on staff recommendation; seconded by Doug Stanley; motion passed unanimously. OLD BUSINESS: 1. Future HPC Projects – Continued dialog about potential HPC projects, discussion of agenda topics, and review of HPC's existing research packets distributed by Mara Perry. Relative to Tuxedo Park, onerous requirements for historic designation necessitates collaborative, neighborhood-wide consensus and effort, interest initially gauged perhaps with letters to residents. Potential educational project via webpage and a Joybilt home walking tour were other noteworthy topics discussed. 2. Discussion of "At Risk Property List" and Historic Inventory Sheet – HPC members inquired generally about the function, content, origin, and oversight of these indices. 3. Other Business –City Councilwoman Laura Arnold happily announced the date of this year's Webster Groves' Commissions Holiday Party: December 12th. Anne Kelly moved to adjourn the meeting; motion was seconded by Doug Stanley and passed by unanimous vote.
