APPROVAL OF MINUTES ARB-052 Approval of the July 15, 2015 Architectural Review Board Meeting Minutes A motion was made by Tara Zimmerman, seconded by Damon Robling, approved (5-0) to approve the July 15, 2015 Architectural Review Board Meeting Minutes. NEW BUSINESS ARB-054 Wellington Country Plaza Master Sign Plan - Starbucks (HTE 15-71 / ARB 15-009) A motion was made by Ron Shamash, seconded by Damon Robling, approved (5-0) to approved HTE 15-73/ARB 15-010 Movie Theater at the Wellington Green Mall with staff recommendations and the following modifications to staff conditions: 1. the Drive Thru Menu Board is approved as requested by the applicant; 2. all bollards shall be the same black color as the Order Screen and Drive Thru Menu Board cabinets; 3. the 6' wall proposed by the applicant is not approved; 4. the applicant to install landscaping to completely screen the Menu Board and Ordering Screen from Forest Hill Boulevard; 5. the applicant will coordinate with staff to replace two parking spaces along Forest Hill Boulevard and the three parking spaces to the south of BurgerFi to additional landscaped areas and add one handicapped space; 6. the Development Review Committee is required to review and approve a Site Plan Amendment which will include the updated parking plan, landscape plan and sign locations. Ayes: 5- Chair Kimberly Sundook Ron Shamash Damon Robling Tara Zimmerman Deidre Newton Excused: 1- Frank Pennea Village of Wellington Page 1 Architectural Review Board Action Summary August 26, 2015 ARB-053 Movie Theater at the Wellington Green Mall (HTE 15-73 / ARB 15-010) A motion was made by Ron Shamash, seconded by Tara Zimmerman, approved (5-0) to approve HTE 15-73/ARB 15-010 Movie Theater at the Wellington Green Mall with the following modifications to staff recommendations: 1. the average height of the living wall plant material shall be 10 feet and be submitted to David Flinchum for approval; 2. the exterior entrance shall be enhanced as presented to the board with landscaping and back illuminated box signs along the wall with movie posters; 3. the double sided vertical wall sign lettering shall be lowered below the roof line or the parapet shall be raised so the sign is not above the roof line. COMMENTS FROM STAFF Olga Prieto, Senior Planner, advised the Board that Frank Pennea will not be in attendance for the next six months as he having surgery on his leg. The Board was informed they still have an open seat which is Councilman Greene's appointment. Kimberly Sundook offered to contact Councilman Greene asking him to appoint one of the two applicants that have applied for the Board. IX. COMMENTS FROM THE BOARD X.
