CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Mr. Gracyalny at 4:02 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 6- Ms. Sarah Fonaas, Mr. Devan Gracyalny, Ms. Barbara Hart, Mr. Ray Nazer, Mr. John Noll, and Ms. Patricia Wolfe Excused 1- Mayor Dan Devine Others Attending Shaun Mueller, Community & Economic Development Coordinator C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. 19-0224 March 13, 2019 (draft) Minutes A motion was made by Mr. Nazer, seconded by Ms. Hart, that the minutes of the March 13, 2019 meeting be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Ms. Fonaas, Mr. Gracyalny, Ms. Hart, Mr. Nazer, Mr. Noll, and Ms. Wolfe No: 0 D. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 2. 19-0225 Financial Report - Devan Gracyalny, Vice Chair/Treasurer Mr. Gracyalny reported that as of April 10, 2019, the balance on hand is $5,207.00. A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Ms. Wolfe, that the Financial Report be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Ms. Fonaas, Mr. Gracyalny, Ms. Hart, Mr. Nazer, Mr. Noll, and Ms. Wolfe No: 0 E. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION 3. 19-0226 Report from the West Allis Historical Society An Iron Lung, donated by the Knights of Columbus, was installed in the display area at the Historical Society. Two classes from Franklin Elementary will be coming for a visit. "Those Were the Days" event will be held on June 30th from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. This event will be replacing Settlers Weekend this year. Log Schoolhouse The Log Schoolhouse will be open to the public beginning May 1, 2019. B. Seneca Station Nothing to report. C. Settlers Weekend Nothing to report. D. Social Media Updates Nothing to report. 5. 19-0228 Discussion regarding proposed changes to the Historic Preservation Ordinance in regards to requiring owner’s consent for local designation. Mr. Gracyalny discussed the potential of the Broson Manor Neighborhood becoming an Historic District. Mr. Mueller indicated that he will follow up on this and consider it for the next grant application. 6. 19-0229 Discussion regarding June Historic Preservation to replace Settlers Weekend. See above note under the Report from the West Allis Historical Society. F.
