A. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mr. Gracyalny at 4:02 p.m.
B. ROLL CALL

C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. 19-0360 May 8, 2019 (draft) Minutes

A motion was made by Mr. Noll, seconded by Ms. Hart, that the minutes of the May 8, 2019
meeting be approved. The motion carried by the following vote:

D. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS
2. 19-0361 Financial Report - Devan Gracyalny, Vice Chair/Treasurer
Mr. Gracyalny reported that as of June 12, 2019, the balance on hand is $6,171.27.
A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Mr. Nazer, that the Financial Report be approved.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 4- Mr. Gracyalny, Ms. Hart, Mr. Nazer, and Mr. Noll

E. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION
3. 19-0362 Report from the West Allis Historical Society
Mr. Gracyalny reported that he spoke with a Carol Graham who requested a historical
search be done on the Burnham properties. She reported that Liberace lived above a
storefront on S. 60th & W. Burnham. His parents sold fruit there. Liberace would have
turned 100 last month.

Barb Hart noted that she had visitors from the Chicago area who came up specifically to
tour the Log Schoolhouse.
B. Seneca Station
Nothing to report.
C. Social Media Updates
The website is now up to date.
5. 19-0364 Discussion regarding “Those Were the Days” Event on June 30, 2019
Barb Hart questioned if it would be possible to get Spectrum Cable to come out to the
event. Another suggestion was Channel 58, but they were contacted and no return phone
call was received.
A food truck will be available and the Rotary Club will sell drinks and water. Some
re-enacting and entertainment will be provided. A suggestion was made to perhaps get
Mary Anne Miller, a local Harpist to perform. There will be a raffle as well as a 50/50
raffle. The Pop Up Library will also be available.
F. ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Mr. Gracyalny, to adjourn the meeting at 4:45 p.m.
