REGULAR MEETING
A. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Ms. Sarah Fonaas at 4:04 p.m.
B. ROLL CALL
Present 5- Ms. Sarah Fonaas, Ms. Barbara Hart, Mr. Ray Nazer, Mr. John Noll, and Ms. Patricia Wolfe
Excused 2- Mayor Dan Devine, and Mr. Devan Gracyalny

C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. 19-0630 September 11, 2019 (draft) Minutes
Attachments: 9-11-19 (draft) Minutes
Under Agenda Item 4a., the minutes be amended to read Christmas "Open House",
instead of Christmas tree decorating.
A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Mr. Noll, that the minutes of the September 11,
2019 meeting be approved as amended. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 5- Ms. Fonaas, Ms. Hart, Mr. Nazer, Mr. Noll, and Ms. Wolfe

D. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS
2. 19-0631 Financial Report - Devan Gracyalny, Vice Chair/Treasurer
Mr. Mueller reported that as of October 9, 2019, the balance on hand is $5,664.74.
A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Mr. Nazer, that the Financial Report be approved.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 5- Ms. Fonaas, Ms. Hart, Mr. Nazer, Mr. Noll, and Ms. Wolfe

E. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION
3. 19-0632 Report from the West Allis Historical Society
Mr. Mueller stated that the Annual Fall Banquet will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019
at the Landmark, located at 1441 S. 68 St. The theme for this year is the Hatfields &
McCoys.

4. 19-0633 Status Reports - Historical Commission Projects and Activities
A. Log Schoolhouse
The Log Schoolhouse will be closing in 3 weeks for the winter season.
Ms. Wolfe will be contacting the teacher from Franklin School to bring the class to
decorate the Christmas tree on December 5th.
B. Seneca Station
Construction has been completed near the Seneca Station. A work order will be placed
to have the Christmas lights installed at the Station.
C. Social Media
Nothing to report.
5. 19-0634 Discussion regarding the murals at the West Allis Post Office, 7440 W. Greenfield
Ave.
This matter was not discussed. It will be placed on next month's agenda.
6. 19-0635 Discussion regarding proposed Art Bench at the Seneca Station
The committee decided that they would like to see a more complete design and preferred
the more abstract option.
F. ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Ms. Wolfe, seconded by Ms. Hart, to adjourn the meeting at 4:20 p.m.
The motion carried by the following vote:
