REGULAR MEETING
A. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Devine at 4:02 p.m.
B. ROLL CALL
Present 7- Mayor Dan Devine, Ms. Sarah Fonaas, Mr. Devan Gracyalny, Ms. Barbara Hart, Mr. Ray
Nazer, Mr. John Noll, and Ms. Patricia Wolfe

C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. 19-0727 October 9, 2019 (draft) Minutes

A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Ms. Wolfe, that the minutes of the October 9, 2019
meeting be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 7- Mayor Devine, Ms. Fonaas, Mr. Gracyalny, Ms. Hart, Mr. Nazer, Mr. Noll, and Ms. Wolfe

D. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS
2. 19-0728 Financial Report - Devan Gracyalny, Vice Chair/Treasurer
Mr. Mueller reported that as of November 13, 2019, the balance on hand is
$5,669.74.
A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Ms. Wolfe, that the Financial Report be approved.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 7- Mayor Devine, Ms. Fonaas, Mr. Gracyalny, Ms. Hart, Mr. Nazer, Mr. Noll, and Ms. Wolfe

E. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION
3. 19-0729 Report from the West Allis Historical Society
Mr. Mueller mentioned that the front doors to the Historical Society are in terrible
shape and people are struggling to get the doors open. It was discussed whether
CDBG funds could be used for this project. The Holiday Open House was
discussed and it was decided to decorate the tree on Thursday, December 5th.
4. 19-0730 Status Reports - Historical Commission Projects and Activities
A. Log Schoolhouse

The Log Schoolhouse has been winterized & closed up for the season.
B. Seneca Station
A work order must be submitted to the Public Works Department to have the Christmas
lights put up at the Seneca Station.
C. Social Media Updates
Nothing to report.
5. 19-0731 Discussion regarding the murals at the West Allis Post Office, 7440 W. Greenfield
Ave.
Devan Gracyalny volunteered to work on an application towards local designation.
6. 19-0732 Discussion regarding proposed Art Bench at the Seneca Station
Direction was given from the committee that they did not want a mural painted on the
seneca bench. It should be kept as an historic site and another location for the mural
needs to be found.
A motion was made by Devan Gracyalny, seconded by Sarah Fonaas to not have a mural
painted on the bench in front of the historic Seneca Station. The motion carried
unanimously.
F. ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Ms. Hart, seconded by Ms. Wolfe, to adjourn the meeting at 4:25 p.m.
